Kabab & Curry serves Indian and Pakistani cooking from a unit on West Baptist Road. The kitchen leans Pakistani where it counts: karahi finished in ginger, garlic and tomato, haleem, Lahori fish fry, and seekh kababs of beef, lamb or chicken minced with onion and herbs and cooked in the tandoor.
The curry list runs through the familiar names - butter chicken, korma, vindaloo, rogan josh, saag - with lamb, goat or beef as the choice on most of them. Biryani comes six ways. Vegetarians get a full section rather than an afterthought: chana masala, saag paneer, malai kofta, baigan bharta, dal makhani. Breads come out of the clay oven, among them honey ginger naan, chilli naan and a potato-stuffed aloo paratha.
Mains run about $15 to $20, and five combo meals pair an entree with rice, naan, a samosa and salad for $18 to $22. There is a short fast-food list too - shawarma, kabab rolls, loaded fries. Dine in or take out.
